My Roadrunner was a manual steering/manual brakes/automatic. No clearance problems on that combo. Ray's Charger was a power steering car. I never heard him mention any issues with it and he'd most likely have griped about the headers if there had been any. Of course, both of our cars were B-body big blocks so I can't say if the fit was as good on an A-body small block. - By the way, Ray still owns his '70 Charger and it's still running the Appliance headers since the early 70's.
