Audiophiles....what setup are you using?
65 Dart wagon - I want decent sounds but am not a fanatic about it. So the plan is to use a Double Din with Sirius/XM for the radio in a custom console. For speakers a pair of 6X9's in the rear, probably in the side panels. No door or kick panel speakers (at least at this time). The dash gets a pair of 5 inch mid-ranges where the original single speaker was located.
Back in the 90's I had parted out a 71 E Body Convertible (severe rust issues) and saved the pair of dash speaker covers that were used for a 3 speaker stereo dash configuration. I will use them at each end of the dash for stock style tweeters. This setup ought to work OK in the limited early A Body dash and lack of rear parcel tray in the wagon.
