Those work great except when your doing bodywork and have bare metal everywhere. I thought about a port a cool for home then dismissed it. I have a small 1000 btu window air cond unit. I attached ducting to it to discharge the hot air outside the shop, and i angle it at my workbench or wherever i am working. We have a monster 4 foot port a cool in my department at work. We ressurected it when they were gonna toss it. It works great. Now its chained down so it doesnt walk off.
