Dash removal

-
I always have, but a few members have been able to hassle it with the windshield in...

It's easier to get to the front screws when the windshield is out...

Do you to remove windshield to take out entire dashboard
I've done two, the only way I could get it was with the windshield out. Some have had luck using a series of swivel connectors but I didn't find a way to make those work either

This old man found it surprisingly easy. However the heater and most dash parts, cluster, radio, glove box were out. I used a cheap HF die grinder with a small cutooff wheel to cut the clip nuts and or screws off. I have lots of joint and movement pain so this stuff for me is no fun. I replaced the clips "upside down" so the screws are now accessible from bottom. I can not take credit...........might have been Redfish I first read of this

Locate 5 screws under the windshield rubber and remove a section about 2" wide for each one. Easy to get a socket in there. Windshield stays in and no bugs in the eyes when driving.
