Carb Selection

I'd try borrowing a 750 carb see how much vacuum it pulls and decide from there.
An 850 probably an improvement anyways but who knows if it's 1hp or 25 hp on your combo.

On my car I got an 800 edlebrock on a 380hp create and runs strong even with 2.96 gears.
