Aluminum Radiator

-
This is sounding like less of a direct bolt in Radiator.
A little grinding and drilling is all that is needed. very little. A quality piece for little money. Keeps my big block under 200 on a 90 degree day with high stall and steep gear.

grinding on the radiator its self or radiator support? I have a numbers matching 1970 Duster 340 4 speed so not interested in drilling radiator support. The adapter bushing? Is it needed for all hoses? I have a mild built 40 over 360 in the car now with a 727. I had it out today in 95 degree weather and it runs 192 if it idles in traffic.

I didn't have to any drilling or grinding on the 67 fastback at all. just a little work on the radiator

That is nice to know. I think I will wait till winter to jump into this job. I hope to see some photos of the ecp 22 inch in some cars with original shroud.

I just had to open up some of the bolt holes on the radiator. Very close to lining up but not quite. Hose bushing on the lower only.

I would not change a thing on your cooling setup if your car runs that cool in 95* weather. Looks to me like you have a good tune and cooling setup.

Yes I have looked at that miloden pump. I understand the ECP is 2 row at one inch and that should work fine. I am not getting the 26 inch. The 22 should bolt in stock holes and use my shroud. When I get around to.do this I will post pictures on a new thread about the install.

It doesn't matter the size of the radiator. 2 bigger tubes will have more area than 3 smaller tubes. Area a flow are what you need.

More tubes isn't always better.

For now I have no plans to. I am either going to have my original cleaned when I change the antifreeze or try the ECP and put a new water pump on. Car runs plenty cool in fall and spring. I would prefer the car to run 180 or so in summer months.
