Has anyone used maxpeed hydraulic roller lifters on a 360 LA block?

I have a 292 Comp Cam and tried using maxspeedingrods hydraulic roller lifters. When I put the heads on with roller rockers, the crane push rods I bought for this combination did not fit. With the LA block pushrod holes being so small, it did not allow the pushrod to fit into the rocker arm. Took the heads to my machine shop where I was talked out of using the maxspeedingrods roller lifters.
