I just acquired a 70 dart swinger that is a off white or cream color. After doing some research I figured out it was called Sandpebble beige. I do like the color and think that it would go good with a black swinger stripe and some nice rims and white letter tires. I thought that I might paint it another color, but since it is an original color that I have not seen very much of I think I will stick with it. I was wondering if any other members could show me pics of their sandpebble beige darts or A Bodies. Plans for the car are a 340 4 speed clone without good scoops. The 340 is a 68 and has only got 18000 original miles on it 100% stock( I have the original manifolds not pictured). It was pulled from a rolled dart in 1970 along with the original 727 and driveshaft and 8.75 rear end. Thanks in advance for any pics.

So I guess that I have not just been living under a rock. There really aren't many around. I think that is a really good reason to leave it original in my opinion.

My 69 Western Sport Special Dart is L1 beige. Car has a saddle vinyl top and a saddle interior which is the factory color combo. I thought about going with another color but thought that the original L1 with the saddle top and interior would be different.

Do you know what brand of paint was used to paint your car? What is the exact paint code. Thanks

The car was painted with Omni paint which is a PPG brand from what I understand. The paint code is 22542 which I believe is a Ditzler code and could be crossed over into any brand of paint.

I have a 66 B-Cuda Coupe in light beige. It is still in original paint. The fender tag for the paint is "XX 1". I had some Omni made up for some touch up work, and the code on the cans are 22701. My car still has the original untorn interior. It is faded, but where its not you can see it was a light metalic gold color.
Not the best pic,of the car, but you can see the color, over the hood of my white 69 B-Cuda.

Sorry for dragging up the old thread but I just saw this, my 70 340 Duster original paint car in Sandpebble sitting beside my red 68 Formula S 340 Barracuda. I've owned the Duster since the 70's and never seen another 70 340 this color.

Hmmm. Having searched on and looked at a few SandPebble Beige cars, I think mine is one of them?

You sure it aint the old 'SPINAKER WHITE " ?

When I worked at Dodge City 69-70 we sold an "old man tan" Charger R/T to and old man with a young wife. Red vinyl top and interior.

Most if us kinda puked when we first saw it but it grew on me and my buddies over time.

He drove the crap outta it, too.
