Installing a throw out bearing?

Do I have the throw out bearing install correctly on the clutch fork?
Do I have the fork too far on to the clips, or is that the correct position?

Not to worry, your front bearing retaining collar on your transmission will locate the release bearing. Where you have it is a good start.

The problem is when one side stays deep and the other comes out on you when installing the trans and you don't see it. Once you get some bolts snugged up into the bell, check it carefully. Just because the bottom side is in doesn't mean the top hasn't slipped out on you. Both sides in equal so you don't have to do it again.
