What do you call the guys that complain about non stock cars?

I don't know a thing about that.

Everyone has the right to do to their cars what they want. However there are some that will have feedback every whichway, cool.
To each his own and I guarantee those owners will have their own beef against it. COOL> its a hobby, lets all enjoy it all whether your idea is different, But the end result is value and thats up to the owners preference. :)

I've owned over 300 A-Bodies, most stock, some modified. They were my cars and none of you have any say to what I do or do not do to them. simple as that! If you buy one then you can modify it to your hearts content, until then YOU CAN JUST **** OFF if you don't like my pure stock, purist A-Body, again it is simple as that!

I didn't read from anyone that insulted you or told you that you didn't have the right to do what you wish with your own cars. Maybe now you can tell everyone to **** back ON ?

I think he was just saying what he would tell people if they were bagging on one of his cars... I could be wrong, but that's how I read it.

Some of my most valuble a bodies needed no fender tag or build sheet,if it helps this post.

In the Aircooled VW world we called them "Stock Nazis"
Now that Im back into Mopars I dont think that fits.
So - whats your favorite saying to the guys that complain when they see your car is not stock?
What do you call them?
You know the ones that cant keep there mouth shut about your Hood Scoop
or front end from a 69 when the car is a 70.

If you are one of "those guys" what do you call yourself?

Not trying to start an argument LOL!
Just quirious after I saw a post on a mopar FB page and someone complaining that the car in question had a hood scoop on it but otherwise looked stock.

I call them their name. There's always going to be a critic. If their name's not on the title it's just typical background noise.

I've posted this here before but, for this very reason a friend of mine removed the fender tag off his pro street roadrunner and replaced it with a fender tag that simply said "FU" (only not abbreviated).
Hahahah thats great!

Mine came with a blue oval 9" rear.it really really has to go. Any bowtie rears fit a 65 barracuda? Im no purist, but i can deal with a bowtie over a blue oval all day long.

I used to be one of those purist guys. Not to the extent I'd ever diss someone's car or give him a hard time over it. Unless he was a friend of mine, then all bets were off. But something like a 71 stripe on a 70 would bug me no end. I'm like it costs the same to do it right, no?

Then I got my Duster and that all went away. It isn't stock, it never will be. Whatever. Your car, enjoy it, have a blast. To be fair to myself that had started a couple of years prior to getting the Duster. The Duster just cemented the new philosophy.

Just no Brand X motors in a Mopar, please. But I'm consistent on that, I don't like Chev motors in a Ford either.

if you don't like someone's style on a car......buy the car and change it.

i bought a car (72 demon ) and i think what the previous owner did to it, is horrible. (blacked out grille and aftermarket wheels) but all i can do now is change it out and move on.

cars are as diverse as the people who own them so shouldn't really matter what people do to their cars, just worry about your own.

I want one of those!

I think you should be able to do anything you like to your as you please. I would think it's stupid to turn a hemi cuda rag into a 4x4.
The only snob thing I got is non mopar engines in a mopar everything else is fair game .

I personally like stock body and interior with custom driveline.

Me - I be like ..... here's your stink eye...........

I not a purist snob but if you paint your engine bay black your car better be black or your a chivy guy posing .Anything else is acceptable as long as it's Mopar .

PS my 69 has a 70's strobe down the side so neener neener neener !

Not a fan also, mines under coated black which I'm even less a fan of. One year l plan to pull the motor and paint but have to decide what color. Yellow now thinking of lime or orange and black hood.

Great. Now i have to redo engine bay. Last owner painted it black. Big dilemma, dont know if its prepped correctly or what paint he used. And im not painting car black.
