I am in the final parts procurement for my 72 dart. I need to help getting the proper lines. I am going to use the 11.75 rotors from a 74 e body with pin type calipers.,, I just need some options to for the brake calipers. I would like to mount them from th9999999e rear, but i will not rule out front mounting either. whichever works best

i am going to use a hollow hellwig swaybar need help with with the sway bar links to 72 lower control arms..

any help would be appreciated

You can mount the lines from the body tab, just make sure that the line in tied up secure to the upper A arm and not hitting anything when you turn the wheel. I think you can also switch the calipers from side to side so they are mounted towards the back. So you can use the rear tab.

I don't know if that hellwig bar is direct replacement and lines up with/attaches to your OEM sway bar tabs. If all is correct, just mount the calipers to the rear. Then the sway bar end links are a non issue. The hoses become an issue.
With calipers mounted to the front, whatever OEM hose for the car that had these calipers will work. That creates the end link issue. You would need to use very short end link kits, sway bar attached beneath that tab.

I am actually planning on installing the calipers at the rear. I am just not sure what brake lines to use.. i was hoping that others had already done this swap so they could just give me the 411.. looks like my quest continues.. lol

I made my own lines. Used braided SS line and found what fittings to use. Can buy the supplies from Jegs, Summit and Speedway

You can get the conversion fittings to -AN and just get the length AN brake lines you need. On a side note, not all An brake lines are DOT approved

Most just use "off the shelf" f-body hoses. Braided? I don't have a clue. Good luck

somewhere here in past posts ///I used RUSSEL braided brake lines 69 barracuda fb 10 inch drums but I'm quite sure they have many applications

I sell a bunch of fragola brake hoses, and i use them myself. They can be ordered in -3AN, -4AN, 1/8 NPT...so we'd just need to know what fitting size, and/or get adaptors to incorporate the flex lines. also avail in almost any length. cant really beat $12. or we can do black, or coated, etc.
