Not sure, it has happened gradually, I only put 500 to 800 miles a year on the car. It has happened in the last few 100 miles. Hoping the filter picked it up. I use VR1 and regular oil changes every year. Hoping I can get away with a new cam and lifters and call it good. No chuncks. Andrew
