Hey guys, I'm going to be selling my completely rebuilt 340 that I bought for my Cuda. All new internals including pistons, bearings, cam etc. I decided that since I have to paint my engine compartment anyway I might as well have the numbers matching motor built while I'm waiting. I can offer this motor as a short block or complete depending on what someone wants as I can use any parts that don't go with it. I ran the combo by Hughes Engines and they put it at around 400 HP and 9.7-10.1 compression.

For the complete motor carb. to pan I'd like $5000, short block $2900.

The short block was built at Contemporary Machine Huntington Beach. I don't have the receipts, this is how I bought the engine. Everything is new in the boxes, except I don't have the boxes for the heads. I just temporarily bolted the long block together so you can see what it will look like.

No, no warranty. After I inspected it I bought it without warranty, I can tell it was built right. The person I bought it from ran out of funds to finish their build. Only reason I'm considering selling is because I'm going to go ahead and rebuild my numbers matching 340 in my Cuda. I was originally going to put this new 340 in it and put my original engine aside, but since it's going to take a while to paint the engine compartment I decided I'd have time to have mine built.
