20 years wondering no more

good luck getting your cuda back! my parents special ordered a gts back in aug 67,,and took delivery in mar 68, and my mom was drag racing it in April 68,,i was just a kid, but man,,did we have fun in that convertible! my mom LOVED that car, and it was her baby, and her daily driver until 1980, and after my younger brother and sister were born, it was time to upgrade to a Crestwood station wagon,,and my mom cried when the kid drove away after buying her dart. we spent 36 years regretting ever selling it,,and 36 yrs later my mom still got upset missing her car,,,,i spent 25 yrs searching driveways, asking at car shows, following leads and rumours and using Google for names and addresses,,and on mother's day in 2016, after visiting my mom, i stopped at another potential dead end lead,,knocked on the door,,and an elderly lady answered. i asked her if she had a son?,,yes,,,did he ever drive a blue convertible dart?,,yes many years ago,,,,was he home? no,,he's married and moved away,,,but that car is out back, in the woods if you want to see it,,,i almost fainted. i chopped down brush,, found tbe car,,verified the vin,,and made her an offer. she refused,,and said if i wanted it,,she would not take a penny for it,,it belonged back to us,,no charge. my brother and I blazed a trail, snaked it out of the woods, called Mark Worman, told him my story, he said to get that car out here to my shop asap
its currently being restored oem for season 9 of graveyard carz. DONT STOP LOOKING!
