maybe other engines had the same oil cap???

looking for a really early (I believe pre-63) oil cap like pictured in this internet pic of a slant

That one pictured is an aftermarket one, not oem. I t is common, so it almost becomes 'stock'.
 
If this is for your '63 wagon, the parts car cawley gave you has the correct one.
 
Nice & oily / dirty, so it should clean up great. I'll put it in the parts washer.

Came on the 68 Hemi Dart/Barracudas. Can also be found on the 427 Ford.
Just another Hemi part that can be sharred with the slant.
These breathers are not being reproduced, so they are sparse.
There is a nos 427 one on eBay right now for $100.
Needless to say, you picked a doozy.

FWIW, my 64 225 has the original one like posted by Alaskan.
