So I'm in my final stages of my Dart convertible resto. Trying to figure out how the washer works. My son said it's a foot pump but I don't remember ever having one, it's been 5 years since we started this. I thought it was in my wiper switch, electric motor. My switch is not working and neither is my memory.... Does anyone have pictures of the electric pump and how it's installed?

If it has an electric pump it will be mounted to the bottom of your washer bottle.

The electrics are usually a pump integrated into the tank bottom and it resides on the drivers side inner fender.
If your wiper knob pushes in, then it was an electric unit and had a single wire going to the pump.

I'm thinking 67-76 had electric.

My 69 Vert has a foot pump. I have it removed, not going to use it, you want it? all hoses connected. Just pay shipping....PM

Is it on the data plate? I never found a build sheet in this car.

1969 is not my year of specialty, but it would be included with group code A04.

But depending on where it is on the tag, A04 can also be the scheduled production date.

I checked and don't find a code similar to that. It has a late build date of December 12 1969.

Let me check to see what kind of switch I have. I will get back with you.
so i have a 2 speed motor for an electric pump. The switch is currently not working, we still are working out bugs and need to see if all the grounds are in place etc. So could I use a foot pump and forgo the electric pump?
