'73 Swinger - turbo SB, EFI, Overdrive...on the cheap! :)

It was on 10 psi when it died. I don't think it was the boost that killed it though. When I had the issue, it broke up real hard under power and popped out the exhaust pretty bad. Pretty sure it was a tuneup problem though. When I got home it was pissing coolant out the side of the motor between the head and the block.
Yeah, i'd agree that the tuning didn't help, especially if the piston was that chewed up. It was more of a curiosity question of how much boost the teener handled for a "period of time" lol i followed another thread on here where someone was eyeing an ebay turbo setup and was thinking it'd live through 8-10 psi with good tuning on an efi setup. apparently there's some validity to that. cool thanks!
