im selling or trading my 70 duster it started life as a factory black with a red painted top and red interior and the car still has it's original paint because it came from Arizona ofcourse the interior was baked out of it. it came with a 318 and a 4 speed. I still have all the 4 speed stuff. the car currently has a 340 inch w5 headed engine with tti headers and a 650 roller and 1.6 rockers the heads were done by competition engineering in brandenberg ky. they flow 327 at 700. The trans is a 727 done by performance torque flights in louisville ky. it has all good parts with a reverse manual valve body. the car runs and drives nice it only has about 100 miles on it since built everything in engine and trans are new i can deliver to mopar nationals if anyone is interested the car is located in louisville ky. im asking $14,000 or ill trade for something mopar, plymouth, dodge, race cars, drivers

also i have a perfect dash pad for the car.

It's a factory V02 two-tone red over black car? Do you have the fender tag or build sheet for it??

The worn through spots look like factory red oxide primer to me under the black.
Do you have pictures of the trunk area and floor pans to back up your claims of originality?
A rare car for sure if it is painted this two tone combination...........

For the people that do not know how the factory did two-tone paint cars;

The top was painted first - no masking.

It was then sent through the bake oven to harden the paint.

Then the top was masked off, the top color edges sanded & the lower body color painted.

So top color under the lower body color edges is 100% correct.

It was the same for 1970 Challenger 340s & R/T models with the painted on V9_ Bumble Bee stripes.

Stripe color first.

Who built the engine. (Edited by staff)
