I did take a look at it and gave the owner a small deposit. I would done the whole amount except the title was not in his name but the previous owner's name. He said he would get the title changed to his name before any more money changes hands- I'm good with that. He's supposed to go to DMV tomorrow and meet with me on his way home.
Both front fender trim is MIA as is the little pieces that connect the hood trim to the door trim.
All the pot metal parts on the car - outside door handles and mostly everything at the rear are pitted of course.
Luckily the grille is stainless steel!
Love the dash. Those aftermarket gauges gotta go!
Dash appears to be pot metal as well
Wonder if mileage is original or rolled over at least once? 83980 on the clock.
And of course the obligatory pic of the engine compartment with that high horsepower flathead - that will get swapped out for sure!
Current owner said it might run! Gotta save up the money to let Tri City do the bumoers and guards. I'll start another thread after it's safely home.
