Stock rebuild using Edelbrock heads and Hilborn Fuel injection. Smole is from poor fitting breathers on valve covers. 390 HP @ 4800 RPM and 435 Ft. lbs of torque.

You may have a few "hood clearance" issues with the injectors.... :poke:

for the life of me I cant find the cam card but if my memory is correct it a stock grind for 1968 340. Also, I didnt build this engine for a ton of HP. I just wanted a good driving, everyday car.
340 Fuel injected
Passon 5 speed
Dana with 4:10
30.7 inch tall tire
PS, PB, A/C
 
That the better way to do it.
Make the power more heads then cam
