Towing a 68 on car dolly

-
Difference is the thickness of drum face. Just dont step on brakes with drums off. Or you will need wheel cylinders. To me, worth the risk.
A couple things,i would tow slower, but i always do. And if necessary a few stops to check diff and let it cool.

One final alternative, load on dolly backwards, just locking steering would be a challenge. And it may scrub your tires. As toe would be wrong.

Towing backwards will/may burn off the tires in no time,( due to the Toe-in issue as mentioned), and together with the lack of caster will probably induce a shimmy.
