1973 plymouth duster 340 5.57L. Long story short motor ran without oil. Engine seized. selling long block with internals without accessories. 1700 obo, plus 200 hand delivered within 200 miles , you pick up for free or have a specific freight handler let me know.

Is it bored? 340s are 5.57L. unless bored in excess of 347ci. Need more info to justify 1700 on motor needing rebuild.

Look on the block, directly below the head gasket flange on the drivers side of the block. There will be a number stamped there. That's what they will want to have. You posted the casting number cast into the drivers side of the block. The VIN and assembly numbers are stamped into ot below the Drivers side head right behind the power steering pump.

Yes interested in vin aswell.

Have to wait till Saturday or Sunday. Engine still In car . Will remove and check

Engine does not have any vin numbers on. i read somewhere it might be a warranty replacement?
 
honestly you really need to disassemble the engine if it locked up. you need to find out if the block is even still good.

Found the issue. Piston 2 bracket broke And bent the Piston arm. Piston 1 needs to be replaced Piston wells look good with no scoring
