Too much fuel?

if it is dribbling fuel into the throat at idle something is not allowing the needles to seat
this could be
too much fuel pressure
a poorly adjusted float
a leaking float (filled with fuel, it does not, in fact, float)
junk in the carb that sits where the needle should seat

i just noticed the very first post claimed the floats were operating as should...are we still standing by this?

no might be the time to rip that intake and go with a 4 barrel

something else to consider at this point is that cam
did you install it during this rebuild or was it installed, broken in, and ran previously?
