The tale of the $350.00 distributor

-
I am having the same stumble, misfire, stalling in my old tractors I have tuned up. I have found do not use a new condenser as they fail around 10 hours of run time. Use only old ones made in the USA because I have had several sets of the new ones fail before finding old ones.

Only weird thin to that is it definitely drove the rotor UP into the cap. My money is the bottom bushing was sloppy and then add the rest, lack of oil etc, actually kinda makes sense the upper bushing was not getting oil and the bottom was and kept the shaft from wobbling?

Sounds about right.:D

Did I send them to you and did the work out? I have no idea any more who I send stuff to!

no sweat have so many "unknowns" no issue getting rid of them especially to keep old stuff running.
