Rare Fender Tag,,,or Not???

Special Handling tag has nothing to do with the suspension. Common tag on fleet vehicles.

Quote from Alaskan TA:
The special handling fender tags are common to police cars, lots of folks have saved the tags from salvage yards over the years & added them to their cars.

I have never seen an original Hamtramck or LA built car with one of these tags, they noted their special handling cars on broadcast sheets instead.

The 'special handling' had to do with the vehicle build, it had nothing to do with being able to 'handle' corners at high speed.

There's nothing particularly rare that would effect pricing or desirablity about that 69 Barracuda 318, Console, auto that was originally painted Y3 yellow gold (same as '70 DY3 cream). Think of Y3 as manilla folder color.

Car is now color changed to a metallic tan.

What is odd is the H6F interior code. If so, that is for white and green two tone is not recommended with Y3 cream.

Could that not-recommended color combination have triggered the "Special Handing" ?? I doubt it since I don't see any Y special order codes.

But that would be better answered by Alaskan TA or 6bblgt

To me it looks like they added the tag when they repainted/color changed it.
