Vent Window Frame Resto
take it all apart. removing vent window(that roll pin will totally suck!) I had to drill mine out. pry out the old gasket starting at the top where there is a gap. clean metal (beadblast or just wire brush) on the stainless part I polished mine with the gasket out. Warm the gasket up in a pan of hot saopy water and use plastic tools to squeeze it back into the channel. it takes a bit of time ,but does come out nice. ohh don't forget to replace the vent window divider cushion while you have it out if they are bad.
yes the hardtops divider cushion is different than the convertible. if you look in post #4 you can see the difference. convertibles are flat topped
