A reply email from Cody at FiTech as to what other issues the update fixed: "Glad to hear that it fixed your issue. The file you had must have gotten corrupted somehow, either way the new software changed the RPM noise filtering to be adjustable on the handheld, added and changed some handheld options for setting your idle in the initial setup menu, and then a few background fuel mapping adjustments for cleaning up some transient fuel tables. If you have any other questions or concerns please let us know." More to know, I just saw this photo that a user had, I need to ensure I have the updated harness......
