How many movies have you watched more then once

I had a friend with whom I worked at RCA in Camden and he did the sound track for The Blob. I watched it again after I learned this and sure enough, he is in the credits for sound: Godfrey Buss.

I too love the oldies. B&W westerns, Wayne, Cagney, Eastwood, etc. I also like a lot of the newer movies: Ironman, Men in Black, etc.

I built a home theater so that I could enjoy these at home while still in a theater environment. 5.1 surround sound with 1,000 watts, 125 inch diagonal screen and 3D capable. I've shown these before, but I'll share them again:

Plus who doesn't love seeing robots carrying beautiful women around???
 
"Top Gun" and "The Wizard of Oz", way too many times. Also Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Phantom of the Opera" a few dozen times. It's great cranked up on home theater.
 
I'm not a big movie buff but have watched Tombstone many many times..also American Grafitti. Star wars got about 30 minutes of my time and that is it.

Blue velvet, Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, All the Clint Eastwood movies, John Wayne, Lord Of The Rings trilogy.
 
Forbidden planet, great movie to watch multiple times.
The classics, Citizen Cane, any Humphrey Bogart, Casablanca, Maltese Falcon and To have and have not, are top of the list.

Young Frankenstein we have just seen on the large screen.
And for western's, Once upon a time in the west.
Wife and I love old movies.
 
Oh jeez, for me probably well over 100 different movies. I have at least that many just in my DVD collection!
 
Ray, there are over 200 movies on my homemade DVD/Blu-ray cabinet, all of them have been watched more than three or four times.

And that's after I took all of Sarah's movies off, as well as three medium boxes of VHS tapes out in the shed.

The only one I haven't watched more than once would be the latest Underworld movie that Karli got me Father's Day and I then loaned out.

Many. Too many too remember. Every car movie is in double digits....Comedies like Animal House, Fast times at Ridgemont High, Blues Brothers, Bachelor Party, Planes-Trains-Automobiles, Vacation, Home Alone......Hard to remember how many times.
Drama: A few Good Men, The Game, Terminator 1-2-3-4-5, Saving Private Ryan, The Rocky and Rambo movies, Mission Impossible movies, Jason Bourne movies, New Star Trek movies....

Agree! On the rare occasion when we do go to a movie, we rate each upcoming movie's chance of success by watching the trailer. We are right about 95% of the time. Hollywood should hire us. We probably have 500 DVDs, but we have a good VCR and several hundred tapes. Every once in a while, we'll watch a tape.

I have seen hundreds of movies multiple times. The worst movie I ever saw was Close Encounters of the Third Kind. UGH, what a horrible movie. I pretty much like all John Wayne stuff and any WWII movie.
 
Apocalypse Now, Green Berets, Sands of Iwo Jima, Full Metal Jacket, Blues Brothers, Grease (!) American Graffiti, Any Star Wars except 1 and 2, Dr. Strange Love, Top Gun
Wont watch: Blues Brothers 2000, Deer Hunter, Born On the 4th of July, Brian's Song, Taxi Driver...Any movie that makes you want to take a shower after you see it.....

The ones that i have watched several times are:
The original Vanishing Point
The original Gone in 60 Seconds
Pretty much all of the older black and white movies especially the gangster movies with Bogart, Cagney, and Edward G Robinson.
A lot of the older westerns
Comedies with John Candy, Jim Carey, Steve Martin, Richard Pryor, Mel Brooks, Gene Wilder, etc.
Not big on sci-fi movies though...........
 
I like most all Eastwood`s films other than the sappy ones. For some reason though I think I`ve seen Forest Gump more times than any other as its seems to be on tv often. I don`t have much of a movie collection only 4 2 Lane Blacktop, Vanishing Point, Dirty Mary Crazy Larry and A clockwork Orange. Too bad my VCR died years ago.

Too many to even think about as I lovefilm and alot of TV old and new.
A couple of films come to mind that seem to lift me out of a funk or can't sleep and can doze as I can not worry about paying attention.

Paint Your Wagon-Saw in Theater when released with parents-Lee Marvin, Clint, Jean Seburg, Ray Walston and many more. One of my all time time top 10. Clints solo a little hard to take but 100's of laughs.

The Big Lebowski-Too freaking hilarious. All the characters crack me up.
"God damn you Walter! You fuckin' asshole! Everything's a fuckin' travesty with you, man! And what was all that **** about Vietnam? What the ****, has anything got to do with Vietnam? What the **** are you talking about?" After catching a faceful of Donnys ashes.

Death Proof-Too damn funny. Used Cars-The bill on a a fishing line=classic.Tombstone and Overboard. Escape From ... Snake Plissken Ha !
Backdraft etc. Need to see The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes.

The Mechanic-Bronson beats Jan-Michael Vincent.
Mr. Majestyk -amongst other Bronson flicks.

The Jerk-And most any Steve movie.

Just a few off the top of my noggin, have not even thought about Car or so many other Flicks yet.

That movie is awesome, I had it in my Xbox for 6 months straight and hit play every night, wether I watched it or not didn't matter, but I love that one.

Death Proof and Used Cars are my two favorite from Kurt Russell, Captain Ron is another great one. Used Cars got trumped by Porky's at a friend's grade school birthday party, go figure!
 
Yes Hollywood produces crap, you know its getting bad when they start remaking old movies. For example, when I see Walking Tall on cable, I always check to see if its the Joe Don Baker (Original) version, that decides wether I watch it or not. IO can deal with the new version, but it is on TV all the time. Its like they are trying to replace the original because its old, but the original is closer to the true story of Buford Pusser, who was a real sherriff. Back on topic, I enjoy the aforementioned car movies, as well as Clint Eastwood repeatedly. Modern movies I watch over again are The Big Lebowski, (every scene is hilarious IMO) Sling Blade (again Hilarious even though I don think Billy Bob Thornton intended it to be a comedy, more of a character study, if I was a college professor I would incorporate it into my lesson plan LOL).
