Here's the real difference for that motor -The gaskets for the Performer are like $30 bucks cdn + plus the $20 cdn tube of "The Right Stuff" for the china rails .Noticeable performance upgrade = 0. Basically a $50 masturbatory exercise !
Lol, possibly, but if the heat crossovers are packed full of carbon including the exhaust ports in the head then it was time & $50 well spent unless running a cold intake,
jetting for such, not worrying about starts below 45deg, not using an OE choke,.....................since the LA has a prodigious history of such an affliction...............
