Sun Tach in 72 Scamp

DSC01398.JPG DSC01399.JPG
Looking for ideas to mount my Sun Tach - car has column shift automatic- rather not drill any holes in dash- Thought I had an idea to use existing screws holding column lower cover on left side- Than realized I couldn't pull emergency brake out.....
Car has only 16000 miles on it and dash is perfect...
Any ideas? Pict would help

Here is what I ended up with- drilled a single hole- will be out of sight unless you lay on floor
Yea it blocks the a/c a little but ... When I p;aced hole I didn't allow for the plastic nut and wiring on the back of the tach...duh- Will be difficult to remove either a/c or tach in futureDSC01398.JPG DSC01399.JPG DSC01399.JPG
I didn't want to mess with dash pad or dash bezel- couple places I tired were either blocked by stock steering wheel when driving straight or emergency brake was hard to pull
