Here's the flyer for the Mopar Max event coming up the end of September at Cedar Falls Motorsports Park in Cedar Falls, Iowa.

So how big is this show? Worth a 4 hour drive one way?
That's a stretch. The car show is 30-40 with trophies. Same with the racers. 30 -40 I would estimate. Swap meet being end of season has a couple dozen vendors but we are trying to make it a bigger event. The more that shows the better the show. If you're a racer I remember hearing they will pay a couple thousand $$$'s to win this year. We are local but are planning to come Saturday and camp over night. Here's a link to the 2015 event I had saved. I posted quite a few photos that you can view by clicking on the photo name.

Super Pro / Pro combo pays $2000.00 both days and sportsman is $200.00 to win. Will be there to race my 74 black duster, original body and paint. Hope to see some of you there. Need to keep the only mopar race and show in the midwest alive. Tom

I see nothing on the flyer about the cost of swap spots. Can you get me that info , thinking about coming up there. Let me know.

I talked to Rick Kruger and he seemed to think it is $45 for 2 days admission and 2 people. $30 for Saturday for admission and 2 people. As far as I know they don't charge for swap space just admission. You can either swap or enter the car show for admission price. I am planning to have some tools to sell. I retired from MAC last June and I have some leftovers. Hope to see you there.

I went out on Saturday and set up in the swap meet with a couple tables of left over tools. I sold a few things and had a successful day. @lkopaska (Lonnie) came up from Des Moines and we had a good afternoon. Lonnie met up with a guy that has a Barracuda collection of 67-69 Notchbacks, fastbacks, and convertibles. I think that made his trip north worthwhile. Maybe he will stop by with more info and some pictures. @TomMoparMan had tranny/converter problems late in the day so he didn't finish well. He has had a successful season so all is not lost. The big news is that Ed @intimidator was runner up on Saturday and Winner on Sunday. Congratulations Ed. His early Barracuda was looking good and running better. I failed miserably at taking pictures because I was so busy with the Swap meet. Give me a min. on the laptop to correct my smart phone errors and ad some photos. My buddy Mopar Joe won a couple nice trophies at the car show with his B5 70 Bee. He ran it down the strip on Friday night with a 13.23. Not bad for a stocker. A young gun friend won Best interior with his 67 Coronet 500. After the races we got together for some smoked brisket off my smoker and some beer (of course) We had a great weekend.

Here's a few photos. Note the "Kit Car" parked next to Joe showing off his trophy. It's a real kit car that spent it's life on a asphalt track back in the day. It is owned by Phil Lagerquist "The Kit Car Guy"
