1970 Dodge Dart
Been having a really bad day so I shut off my phone and went to work on the car to get my mind off ****. I got the dash fully installed and the electric fuel pump rewired. Put the Steering Wheel back on, and bolted the gauge cluster in place. I topped off the tranny fluid, installed the new fully charged battery, removed the bad thermostat that was keeping the coolant from cycling, and fixed all the hose leaks. Everything works except the turn signals since i fried the switch, waiting for a new one.
And now for the big announcement...I GOT TO DRIVE IT!!!!
The transmission needs some adjustment on the shift points, and the speedometer needs dialed in but boy oh boy i finally got to go for a test drive and it feels like a real car. All the fuckery has finally been reversed and now i can focus on the restoration of the body and general maintenance.
