Hey I've heard of adaptors to fit Chevy intakes to LA engines. Can anyone share any info about this please? I want to fit some vintage Enderle stack injection to a 360. Cheers

Back in the '70's, Ed Hamburger's "For 340's & 360's only" had adapters to install small block Chevy intakes on a small block Mopar. This was when there was a limited variety of "good" Mopar-specific intakes available. But he's been out of business and I don't know of any other sources.

Whats your plan to mount the distributor?
Weld a valley pan to the adaptor plates.
This is an old pic, I believe the Mopar distributor will clear the chevy intake.
If not, the chevy intake can be clearanced as the valley pan will seal the engine and stop hot oil from splashing on the intake, sort of like having an "Air Gap" insulating system.

Some dimensions and that's a SB Mopar intake manifold gasket, laying on a SB chevy intake manifold. The intake ports are a close match in location.

Cheers Brother. The dimensions will allow me to knock some up. I had looked into the intake ports and figured a tiny clean up with the die grinder and they're good to go.
Cheers

Cheers RetroBoy,
Tony Marculawicz had a Koffels Place 340 R block running a chevy intake manifold in his 72 Duster. Mopar Muscle Magazine had an article on it in June of 99. He ran a 8.82 @155.82 in the King Of The Street series.

thats a cool adapter there , chevy stuff is so much less cost wise and way more of it , in fact thats what prompt me to make this adapter , put a chevy ign in your early hemi or poly or la . this adapter bolts in place and than you drop that chevy unit in after a small mod to it . and it locks up tighter than you can get that 'y' clamp .
