Ordered My Disc Brake Conversion Kit

Packed and installed the wheel bearings last night, the rotors come with the bearing races already installed so your kit will have an extra set that comes with the new bearings. Then put the rotors on, they look and fit great. Cleaned off my finger prints with some brake clean and installed the calipers, same thing they look and fit great. I found out that the little rubber band goes on the top caliper locator only and that is what it shows in the instructions. Then I installed the brake hose, it was a lot easier to install the brake hose with the caliper off so I could fit my fat fingers in there to start the brake hose bolt. The only issue that I have had so far is that one of the out board pads rubbed on the center of the rotor hub just a bit, and it made a small grinding noise so I took it back off and just sanded off some of the paint, now it works just fine. I also installed one of my rally wheels to see if there was any clearance problems, nothing everything fits great and no rubbing or hitting of any kind. Also it looks like I will not have any problems with fender clearance, I have the same amount of room that I did with my drum brake set up. So far so good, this kit seems great. Hope to have the M/C and brake lines on this weekend, get it bled then get it out for a front end alignment.
