On the left is the brake line that came with my right stuff kit
Because I mounted the calipers to the rear that brake line would not work using stock brake line location.
On the right is the remedy according to right stuff it is a hose for a 69-73 camaro. It will work perfectly except the hole for the banjo bolt is to small by about .005 proper size is 7/16(.437)
I need to ream hone or drill it out to fit, but I don't want to destroy the end. has anyone encountered this. If so what was your solution. I found a 7/16 valve guide hone on line.
Any suggestions would be helpful and as always thank you for your knowledge

Yeah, just hog it out, it's the flats on both ends that do the sealing. Just dress any burrs left by the drill or ream.

Mototools are a great thing.

If this were me, I'd simply drill it to size and then use a countersink to champfer the edges of the hole for burrs.

Another issue "modern days" is that most copper gaskets you come across are too hard, and won't seal

Someone on here talked about (heat) anealling them, and I'm sure someone on here posted a supply source for soft gaskets, but sorry, don't remember who/ where.

Thanks for the help gang. started the hole with a unibit so the 7/16 bit could start easier. Used a drill press then chamfered the ends. Time will tell:rolleyes:
