Trivial discussion: '67-'69 Barracuda: Fastback vs. Notchback- your opinion?

NOTCHBACKS....all the way. Have '69s with all the available flavor engines except /6.
These 2 are original paint!
MODTOP is 318 console auto.
White one is 340, 4speed with A/C.

Had both but kept the Fastback due to the 383! My 68 318 notch was loved as well and I miss it! Especially the cold AC and power steering!

Took my 67 fastback to the scales awhile ago, it was a little north of 3,250 lbs with my 160 lb self and nearly a full tank of gas. It's a small block with 4-spd.
That's right around the weight my dad came up with on his 69 fastback 340 4spd. It was only 6 months old.

Notchback for me too....but only the 67. There is something about the C pillar and rear glass only on the 67 . But I also like the rear angle on the Fastback. I have both a 67 notch as well as a 68 Fastback and the FB seems to be everyone's favorite.

Fastback for me too.
I don't like the notchback of the converts either.
To me, they just look ''funny'' and don't pick up the styling cues.

Absolutely Notch-Back. ....had my car been a fast back, I wouldn't have bought it.
To me , they look like a small Roadrunner.

Does anyone own a Fastback that hasn't camped in the back?
My first car and my first RV were one and the same, 69 Fastback. Always kept a blanket in the back.
Pitch a tent for all my stuff and then slept in the car. Fold the seat and trunk divider down and instant bed out of the weather and off the ground.
Also the best drive-in-movie car ever.

I like them Both! prefer the lines of the notch for some reason and on FAT tires, they just look mean.

It's the notch for me, it seems more stylized, like more time spent with the shape and lines than the fastback. Don't get me wrong, I dig 'em both.

I'm only messin with ya! I do like both, but I prefer the Fastback!! The brown one pictured, with the black vinyl top and black stripes, torque thrusts, oh man, I will say thats best lookin notchback Ive seen!

FASTBACK for me but I saw a Blue Notchback in a mopar magazine with fat tires on with a Hemi hood. After that I have been looking for a Notchback. My son and I camp in ours every time we go on a long road trip. If too hot we take a tent. A cooler tools chairs canopy and BEER and still have room for a suitcase.
