My wipers were working fine, just slow, so I took out the motor. I only opened the cover on the gears, cleaned and re-greased them and put the cover back on. I did not move the gears or the arm etc. When I re installed the motor and hooked it up it now parks the wipers in the up position. I do not know why. Any help appreciated????
On the good side they do move more freely smoother and faster.

I had the same problem on my 69 Dart. What has happened is you bolted the arm on the motor 180 degrees out.

Well then I don't know why it's doing that. Mine was the arm 180 out and all I had to do was remove the wiper motor and reinstall the arm 180 from what it was.

If you have a three speed motor, your park switch may not be positioned properly. See the below images...

Okay I found out what I did. I did not have to move the arm at all since I did not move it in the first place.
What I did do is when I had the cover off the gears I had moved the cancel cam on the lid when I wiped it down. I thought I had it back where it was but NO.
Being twisted under the dash again is a pain. Sorry for not taking pics.
