This winter I am pondering mini tubbing my Demon. For those that have done this and know the true specs of their wheels.

How wide of a wheel do you run?

What Back space?

What tire size?

Currently I know I can fit a 15x10 with 3.75" BS and a 28x11.5 tire. I am still on the hunt for the correct dimension wheel with the Convo Pro design. 15x12 seems to be one of the most common widths. Which is one of the main reasons I am thinking about the mini tub option. Not to mention I want a nice FAT tire out back. LOL.

Thanks for any info and a post a pic if possible!!

Not sure on the initial question but Centerline will make the Wheel with virtually any BS/Width combination. Just give them a call. Usually the cost is not much more than buying in stock from Summit/Jegs. Turn around is 4-6 weeks.

This will be comparing apples to oranges but my 67 is mini tubbed and has the springs moved in to the frame rails. In order to fit a 15X10 wheel in there using a stock width A body rear end, I would have had to use 7 1/2 inches of backspacing. This wasn't the look I wanted so I narrowed the rear 4 inches on each end and run 3 1/2 inch back space wheels. Your results may vary so I strongly suggest measuring YOUR vehicle multiple times before ordering any custom wheels. Good luck!

Basically Just wondering what everyones fitting for wheel and tire specs that have their car mini tubbed.

From what I have been told is Centerline is no longer in business. So can't have the wheels made to the spec I need.

After reading your response, I checked out their site and indeed they were acquired by another company and are no longer taking orders for Centerline wheels but will soon start making new designs. Said it happened in April of this year. I spoke to them in March and almost placed an order for a custom BS wheel. Glad I didn't now.

I use Jegs wheels 15 x 10 x 4 with a 28 x 13.50 M/T DOT slicks. Now the rear axle is narrowed.

15x12 Pro Stars with a 28x13.50 on it, I believe it's 4.5" of backapacing.

17x11 Torque Thrusts with a 26x12 on it, with 3.75" of backspacing. I had to have them custom made.

Rear end is narrowed
