If you remove the cover at the bottom of the mirror support shaft next to door skin, you can tighten the mirror support shaft. Hopefully that's where yours is loose at.
Thanks I replaced the mirror and shaft with a cheap one from Pep Boys , thats what I couldn't get tight. i bought a new pair from LMC, just got them yesterday Thanks Bill V
