What's your opinion on these for pre-lubing on initial start up? I'm sure most of us don't start your car on a daily basis. Been looking at the 1 or 2 quart ones but can't seem to figure out how to plumb one. Is there some kind of adapter for the oil filter as I don't really want to go the remote filter route or is there an access somewhere I haven't found. It's a stroked 400 in a 69 Dart. Seems like the Canton's are the preferred choice and would like to see pictures if available as to your setup. Thanks in advance

I’d run one if I had it on my scamp. Might even at some point.

I have heard of major problems solved with startup timing chain slap on hydraulic chain tensioners on a 4.2 v8 Audi s4 I had in the past. Always wanted to spring for one personally. Sounds all around helpful.

I've always had one on my Coronet. On a street car they give you instant oil pressure and a little safety margin. We always ran them on the road race car for a little extra insurance. Drag race guys usually don't run them unless they have trouble losing oil pressure in the lights.

You can use an oil filter adapter or plumb it into the back of the block. Several different ways to hook one up, just depends what works best for your particular combination of parts.
