Is there an under the hood tach that you can use to adjust the carburetor idle screws that will work on above???? Thanks a bunch...
 
Use a vacuum gauge. Or if you have a timing lite with a tach in it i have an OTC lite that i use .

Thanks, I have a vacuum gage, but I think the cam in the motor might not give me accurate readings. I used the tach in the car this morning, just some back and forth foot work. I think I got it pretty close. Thanks again, I will look up that OTC lite....
 
i have a solid lifter flat tappet cam in mine and the vac gauge works too. You can hear it as well.
