Engine and transmission swap

Found an engine and transmission. Gonna put in my Dart. Currently has a 904. New trans is 727. Will I need to replace driveshaft or shorten the one I have?

Yes shorten or have one made. 727 is roughly 4" longer me thinks.
 
Also if you have a 67/ later with a console shifter, you want to make sure (or get) the proper tail housing with the bracket holes underneath for the shifter. I'm not positive, I don't think the 904 kickdown linkage will fit if you don't have the 727 stuff
