Yes sir. That's mostly what I found out on all the disc brake kits that claim to work on 14" SBP wheels. I also wanted to use the factory steel wheels, so I bought a KH setup from someone on this site. I haven't installed them yet, but with 4.5" or 5.5" wide steel wheels, the calipers clear by about 3/16". So the original parts you need are the spindles, hubs, and dust shields. You need the original calipers, but many places sell rebuilt calipers. Everything else is readily available.
