I avoided doing the lock strip on my windshield gasket for months. Just thought it was going to be a PITA. Had the $10 lock strip tool and few ounces of super soapy water and it went in super easy in about 15 minutes. Now I can start to procrastinate about the stainless trim I bought over 6 months ago!
