If in fact it's the same stuff solid or dark colors may be ok. I shot the bright aqua pearl or whatever they call it. I tried seven ways from Sunday to make it work. Different reductions, application etc. Not a whole lot of coverage per coat and the metallic control was awful. I shot part with base converter/clear and part as single stage with clear over it(the cab). It fought me the whole way...Have tried a couple different clears also. They died back and shrunk. I know what to expect from Nason.

Buffed, but at one point was ready to scuff it down and re-clear. Was the wife and I's gift to my father in law who's been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. He wanted his vette purple and got it..
