Does curing powder in a "food" oven actually ruin it for future cooking? All the powder manufacturers say so. I'd think if you ran a self-cleaning oven thru a clean cycle that any bad stuff would get burnt away pretty thoroughly. Always wondered about this.
Once you start powder coating in an oven, it can no longer be used to cook in. I bought a used stove for $75 and used it for about 5 years. Then I took it to a metal salvage place.
