Can someone please help me out with this? I need to replace the rear to front fuel line and it seems two sizes where made for this car? one being a 3/8th and the other a 5/16th, I don't want to order the wrong one, can anyone help with the right size for a base model 273? Thanks in advance Mopar family

If you mean "pipe" diameter, it is 5/16"
yes, first time ever doing a build, thought for whatever reason when I read 5/16 or 3/8 I automatically thought thread but the guy at Jegs sold me a 3/8 being that I don't have a return line coming from some charcoal canister. He said if I had a return that would be a 5/16, I already bought it and now just waiting on it, am I missing something here? Would I still be able to use the 3/8 already purchased? and Thanks for the reply mopardude62

No (as in none) A bodies were made originally with 3/8, and there were no return lines until "some" 70 and later. That is all "aftermarket". Depending on how much power you are going to run, you might consider a 3/8 Off the top of my head, I'd say if you are planning "much" over 400HP go 3/8

factory was 5/16. 3/8 is an upgrade but youll have to to do the entire run for any improvements. 5/16 can support alot of HP.

Awesome thanks bro, I kept the 3/8 and it runs fine just have to re adjust the carb on it.
