Hey, I didn't use words like that to you. But what the heck, the guy was Gary Ostrich and I believe what he said was, "for what you want this Dart for, headers would only add more heat in the engine compartment and not give you more about 10 hp difference". That was after I did the porting on the manifolds and the guy that it was sold to DID put headers on it and pretty much said the same thing as Gary had.
Oh yes, Gary Ostrich, in the late 60's and early 70's worked with Mopar in the development of racing heads, among other projects for Chrysler. He also was under contract with Chrysler and raced Plymouths from 1965 till about 1972, including the 68 Plymouth Barracuda racing hemi.
