I sincerely hope you don't mean all this like it SOUNDS. "Big" isn't called that as a joke. He's done way much for hot rodding, racing, Mopars in general, he doesn't owe anybody anything. Quite the opposite is true.
Not to mention all that, but Garlits is his name, not anyone else's. He may have made the decision to stop his affiliation and someone stepped in to keep it going.
