318 head porting for the average joe

I read the term "ssr" in here a couple times. What's it mean?
Also "push rod pinch"?
I did my own 273 heads and am now planning on cleaning up my freshened up X heads

Look at post #160. See how the ports narrow immediately after the opening in the far side of each port? That's the pushrod pinch. The pushrods go through the head just the other side of each of those pinched areas. Make sense?
